Happy 2008 everyone!
I wish I had great pictures to post or fantastic stories to tell.... but since I don't...
Let me first say that usually January is depressing to me. No more Christmas decorations, all the gifts are opened, no more family gatherings for days on end (All of that was FANTASTIC, by the way!), the weather is terrible. No wonder I am not a fan of January!
But, this year... I am happy! It's a shocker! So, here are a few reasons why:
1. January this year is the time to start new... anything can happen!
2. I have a feeling that 2008 is going to be a good year... the power of optimism (yeah!)
3. I am planning out my fun adventures/vacations for the year. How can I not be excited for more rock climbing, possibly a running relay, girls camp, and so much more?!?!?!
4. And, of course, knowing that Heavenly Father is aware of me and guiding my life is enough, all by itself, to make me happy with my life.
Stay tuned for the weeks ahead... I promise the pictures and adventures will have a place on this blog!!!
