Happy Birthday Tami!

For a birthday, we are supposed to do something special and different from any other day. So, for Tami's birthday, we went for afternoon tea at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Wow! Fancy and delicious! Bite-sized sandwiches and desserts- amazing how you can still feel full after bite-sized meals (well, I guess it depends on how many bites you have...)
All and all, a very fun experience. I highly recommend it. And next, time, we will dress for tea with our big Easter-type hats and speak with our English accents!

There is beauty all around...

That is the phrase that came to mind, but I was not thinking of my home (which can tend to look cluttered sometimes, and not so beautiful)
I haven't taken any pictures lately, but thought I would share some past favorites that help me to remember when I have seen something beautiful.

Yes, I am still here....

Long time, no blog....

Yes, I have been lazy about blogging.
Yes, I am still alive.
Yes, I am going to start blogging more (I think).

Can't believe summer is almost over. SO sad!

Girls Camp

Once again, I made my yearly pilgrimage to Camp Ritchie with the Pleasanton Stake for Girls Camp. I just LOVE that place! There is nowhere else like it.
I kept plenty busy all week. It was good and worthwhile stuff, but still exhausting! I was the assistant camp director, campfire coordinator, slideshow compiler, and all around havin-a-good-time girl. That was enough!
We sang tons of songs, had lots of laughs, and even managed to sneak away and climb a couple rocks... but no time for sleeping, until I crashed when I got home (I love my bed, I love my bed, I love my bed...)
I didn't take too many pictures, but here are a few for you too enjoy!

Look at the hotties in yellow!

Having church out in nature...so wonderful.

Getting a chance to spend time with my dad up there too. Yea!

The climbing wall at camp.... the source of a lot of fun!
