They ARE real!!!
That is what my nephew said when the first dinosaurs appeared on stage.
One of our Christmas presents from the parents was tickets to "Walking with Dinosaurs". What a great show!
These dinosaurs were HUGE and were either powered by people moving or (as Nathan would say) a motor. Some dinosaurs were 30-40 feet tall! And they moved so fluidly that it was actually kinda convincing. Nathan was sold. He was so mesmerized that he just sat there staring. He never even put down his ticket!
Thanks for the great present Mom and Dad. Some of us even got to take a little dinosaur home with us too.... hee hee!
Merry Christmas!
Okay, I thought that ice skating in San Francisco was super holiday-esque, but this event actually topped it!
Christmas caroling on a Christmas trolley in San Francisco! Fantastic!
The trolley was decked out in Christmas lights. My sister-in-law's family is wonderful and they set this whole thing up. (thanks Tom and Diane!)
My brother commandeered the microphone from our driver to organize singing of Christmas carols and also to tell us a few facts (and tall tales) about the things we were passing. I thoroughly enjoyed the commentary. I hope the other 30 people enjoyed the singing of Michelle and I in the microphone to lead the carols (scary but at least I had a great accomplice!)
We made a couple of stops along the way. This was at the Fairmont, we took advantage of photo ops all along the way!
These cousins are just too adorable! It's going to be hard to tell Audrey that she can't marry Nathan when she gets older.....
Doing all of this 3 days before Christmas made the whole week feel like one long Christmas event. We topped it off with a delicious dinner Christmas Eve, putting together a massive puzzle on Christmas Day, and exchanging gifts with my wonderful family. It's no wonder why I absolutely LOVE this time of year!
